Ofsted have registered us as “Outstanding”
We are proud to receive consistently high praise from professionals and families who work with us. We have two Residential Family Centres within close proximity of one another. The Laurels is our flagship unit, opening its doors 13 years ago and is registered as ‘Outstanding’ with Ofsted. Our second home, The Elms opened in 2022 and is registered as Good with Ofsted.
One to one support
Each family we work with receives one to one staffing support at the start of their assessment which is then regularly assessed and adapted based on the assessments from our Qualified Social Workers
Supportive environment
A wealth of learning resources are available to our families to support them in their journey. These are targeted at improving understanding and knowledge around issues such as basic care, finances, nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
Flexible placements
Our standard comprehensive residential placement is 12 weeks for each family but we can adapt this to suit each family’s best interests in agreement with the placing Local Authority.
Tailored programmes
An individual bespoke assessment and support programme is devised at the outset of the placement in partnership with the family and the placing Local Authority whereby clear objectives and regular reviews are agreed.
How we provide the highest quality assessments
Our assessments form an interactive, evidence based process considering all aspects of an individual’s parenting capacity and are complimented with various assessment techniques to review progress.
